Join us in the Ancient East Town of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford this August Bank Holiday Weekend (Aug 4th – 7th) for the Rockin’ Food Festival 2017, a weekend of scrumptious food, open- air markets and swingin’ music. Following on from a hugely successful festival weekend last year, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever and our team at Enniscorthy Castle have a wide range of activities for all the family.

Our paid events include, “Ancient East Story Telling” where children of all ages can listen to tales from times gone by and immerse themselves in the folklore of Ireland’s Ancient East from the exclusive setting of the rooftop of Enniscorthy Castle (weather permitting). Or why not try their hand at making pottery Medieval Style. Using the traditional coil technique children will create their own Medieval Pottery which they can bring home and enjoy. Maybe Medieval Shield painting is more their thing, so why not join our staff for some unique arts and crafts where children will be guided in designing their own Medieval Shields, creating their unique heraldic coat of arms.
