Opening times

Our experience can take approx. 45 minutes, however it is really up to you as it is self guided.

We welcome walk-ins however booking is available.

There is on street parking available. Please follow all relative signage.

Groups

Tours are available on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 3pm.
The tour takes approximately 45 minutes. If you have a group of 10 or more, you can pre-book a tour at a time and day of your choosing.

Yes, we are happy to cater for groups of 10 people or more. Groups of more than 25 people will be split with tours conducted 10 minutes apart. Contact us for more information.

Yes, we cater for both primary and secondary schools at all three of our sites. We also offer an educational resource to bring back to the classroom to enhance your learning experience.

We offer guided tours of our sister sites, The National 1798 Rebellion Centre and Vinegar Hill.
We also offer specialised talks on a range of subjects. Contact us for more information.

Visiting with Children

Yes, children of all ages are permitted in the exhibition.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while visiting.

Yes, we have a baby changing facility.

Yes, this is at the discretion of the visitor. There is a lift that accesses all floors within the Castle.

Accessibility

Yes, our exhibition is fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact us on 0539234699 for more information.

Yes, we have an accessible toilet.

No. Some of our exhibitions have audio and videos and can be turned down if needed.
We are happy to make your experience as stress free as possible. Please let us know if you need any special assistance.
