“The Waters of Wexford- Goddesses, Pirates and Shipwrecks" Exhibition, brings to light the life blood of our county, the waterways.
Featuring maritime and river-faring items from the Wexford County Council Archives, this exhibition brings tales of river gods and ghost ships to life for all to enjoy.
The rich history of the Slaney cotmen and the barges on the Barrow, along with the proud service of the RNLI, MarineWatch, and Slaney Search & Rescue are also highlighted in this fantastic summer addition.
Unique items, such as the masthead from the shipwreck ‘Pomona’, and the rib bone of a blue whale, shine in the beautiful setting of Enniscorthy Castle.
