For Summer 2024, Enniscorthy Castle presents ‘Their Finest Hour: Sporting Greats of Wexford’, a look at the heroes of field and pitch, road and track, court and grass. Surround yourself with the memories of the great wins and discover forgotten sportsmen and women of years past.
Special thanks is given to Wexford GAA, Wexford Camogie, Wexford Ladies Football, Raparees/Starlights GAA Club, Wexford FC, County Archivist Grainne Doran and the staff of Enniscorthy Castle for their assistance with research, items, and photos for the exhibition.
Past Exhibitions
Enniscorthy Castle presents local history and culture in coordination with Wexford County Council Archives. We also open rooms to local artists to display their work in between the temporary exhibitions.
